American seniors seem more screen-obsessed than the young

Although millennials may look at their phones more than 150 times a day, and half of them check their devices in the middle of the night, it’s actually seniors who are the most screen-addicted generation. A recent study has found that Americans aged 65 and over spend almost 10 hours a day consuming media on their computers, phones and TVs. The biggest differentiator between each age bracket is the amount of time spent watching news on their televisions, with computer and smartphone use relatively the same across all age demographics. Wonder what these numbers will look like in another few decades from now…
